Manager IT Enterprises & Smart City Solutions

Job Specification
Duties and responsibilities-Manager IT Enterprises & Smart City Solutions
i. Oversees deployment of projects, creation of collateral, and training of sellers and partners in cloud computing. 5
ii. Manages the development of business models for Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS), XaaS and smart city services models.
iii. Oversees acceleration consumption in next-gen high potential customer accounts by providing deep technical expertise and support in one out of the following four areas of specialization: Data centre Transformation, Custom Applications, Media Services, Security, Compliance and Privacy.
iv. Steer in Identifying, validate, and grow opportunities to accelerate consumption in next-gen high potential customer accounts, in partnership with the sales team, by driving solution architecture for both data center cloud and 3rd party solutions v. Leads in the development, implementation and enforcing of ICT and Smart city solutions policies, guidelines, implementation, and use of technology within the Technopolis vi. Spearheads research and implementation of modern technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, robotics, cloud computing, loT to improve the quality of life of citizens and greater efficiency for better public services within the Konza Technopolis.
vii. Oversees development and implementation of strategies for commercializing data center & smart city solutions. viii. Builds and maintains strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
ix. Oversees customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit x. Oversee development and implementation of strategies that would ensure satisfaction of customers.
Person Specifications- Manager IT Enterprises & Smart City Solutions
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: – i. A minimum period of ten (10) years’ work experience three (3) of which should be in a senior management position; ii. Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business IT, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent qualification from recognized institution; iii. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business IT, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; iv. A professional qualification; v. Management Course from a recognized institution; vi. Membership to a recognized professional body; vii. Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results; and viii. Proficiency in computer applications.
