Job Posting Rules

Jobs Miller Kenya – Job Posting Rules

To ensure a safe, transparent, and effective platform for both job seekers and employers, all users posting job opportunities on Jobs Miller Kenya must adhere to the following Job Posting Rules. Violations may result in the removal of job listings, reduced visibility, or permanent suspension of the employer’s account—without refund of any applicable fees.

1. Acceptable Job Postings Only

Jobs Miller Kenya strictly allows the posting of legitimate, paid employment opportunities. The following are not permitted on our platform:

  • Multi-level marketing (MLM) roles
  • Unpaid internships or volunteer positions
  • Business opportunities or franchises
  • Casting calls, modeling auditions, or talent scouting
  • Survey participation, opinion polls, or focus groups
  • Commission-only jobs not clearly described as such
  • Any listing that does not represent a genuine job opening

2. Transparency & Accuracy

Employers must be clear, honest, and accurate in their job advertisements and throughout the hiring process. Each job posting must:

  • Represent a real, current, and available position
  • Clearly describe the job title, responsibilities, qualifications, and if available, salary information
  • Use industry-standard language that candidates can understand
  • Reflect the actual terms and conditions of employment
  • Avoid exaggeration or misleading claims

3. Prohibited Content & Practices

To protect users and maintain quality, Jobs Miller Kenya does not allow job postings that:

  • Require applicants to pay any fee directly to the employer
  • Demand registration or account creation just to view a job description
  • Include offensive, obscene, violent, or inappropriate content
  • Contain personal contact information (e.g., WhatsApp numbers, personal emails)
  • Promote or advertise products or unrelated services
  • Use misleading keywords that don’t match the job
  • Ask applicants to submit photos or videos unless legally required for the role
  • Infringe on copyright or trademark laws

4. Legal Compliance

It is the employer’s responsibility to ensure all job listings comply with local and international laws, including:

  • Anti-discrimination and equal opportunity laws
  • Employment eligibility requirements
  • Salary range disclosures (if required)
  • Data privacy regulations
  • Content must not discriminate based on race, gender, age, religion, nationality, disability, or criminal history, unless legally justified
  • Job listings must not target or exclude individuals based on citizenship, unless required by law
  • Roles should not be advertised in countries under international sanctions (e.g., U.S. or U.K. sanctions)

5. Monitoring and Enforcement

Jobs Miller Kenya may review job postings for compliance, although we are not obligated to do so. We reserve the right to:

  • Request revisions or clarifications
  • Remove non-compliant postings
  • Suspend or terminate accounts that violate our policies

Employers should regularly review these rules, as they may be updated periodically. The last update was made on July 6, 2025.
