Job Description
Orthopedic Trauma Technologist III
TRCPSB/V/NO. 007/2025: ORTHOPEDIC TRAUMA TECHNOLOGIST III, J/G ‘H’ (1 POST)
Duties and responsibilities
- Manipulating and reducing fractures and dislocation;
- Fixing and removing cast, bandages and tractions to and from patients;
- Correcting Congenital Talipes Equino-Varus (C.T.E.V);
- Counseling patients/clients on issues regarding orthopedic trauma;
- Cleaning and treating simple wounds resulting from orthopedic trauma;
- Documenting orthopedic and trauma cases;
- Assessing and referring patients with musculoskeletal conditions; and
- Performing any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
 Requirement for Appointment
- A diploma in Orthopedic Plaster Technology from a recognized institution;
- Practicing license from the Kenya Orthopedic Association (KOA); and
- Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
