Job Description

Orthopedic Trauma Technologist III

TRCPSB/V/NO. 007/2025: ORTHOPEDIC TRAUMA TECHNOLOGIST III, J/G ‘H’ (1 POST)
Duties and responsibilities

  • Manipulating and reducing fractures and dislocation;
  • Fixing and removing cast, bandages and tractions to and from patients;
  • Correcting Congenital Talipes Equino-Varus (C.T.E.V);
  • Counseling patients/clients on issues regarding orthopedic trauma;
  • Cleaning and treating simple wounds resulting from orthopedic trauma;
  • Documenting orthopedic and trauma cases;
  • Assessing and referring patients with musculoskeletal conditions; and
  • Performing any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

 Requirement for Appointment

  • A diploma in Orthopedic Plaster Technology from a recognized institution;
  • Practicing license from the Kenya Orthopedic Association (KOA); and
  • Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
