Job Description

TVET Trainer-Public Health at Murang’a University of Technology

Requirements for the position of Vocational and Technical Trainer – Grade CSG10/JG ”K”) 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields: Business, engineering, Counselling Psychology, Information Technology/Business Information Technology, Hospitality and Hotel Management, Food Science and Technology, Catering and accommodation Management or Tourism and Travel Management, Medical Laboratory or Pharmaceutical Technology, Science Laboratory Technology, Agriculture or related fields from a recognized institution Relevant teaching experience of at least two (2) years at the Diploma or Higher National Diploma level.
  • Practical industry experience in related fields is an added advantage.
  • Registered and /or licensed member with TVETA will be an added advantage.
  • Trained Trainer/Assessor certified by TVET CDACC will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional certifications/membership in relevant fields will be an added advantage (Optional but desirable).
  • Pedagogy and Practical experience in the relevant niche area will be an added advantage.
