Job Description

Relationship Manager -High Net Worth Individuals

We are looking for positive minded individuals who fit the role profile captured below.
Reporting to: SENIOR MANAGER CONSUMER BANKING

Job Purpose:
Primarily responsible for acquiring, servicing and managing High Net Worth Individuals client relationships through
one on one engagement, identifying client needs and providing them with the appropriate bank products, services
and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire, grow and retain base of High Net Worth clients.
• Ensuring revenue growth through customer acquisition, new need identification, product cross-sell and
reengineering increased product usage for existing clients
• Planning for activations within the banks market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of HNIs that
will drive growth of new accounts and deposits.
• Conduct market research and analysis of affluent customers to create detailed business plans on products
developments, commercial opportunities, new strategic partnerships etc.
Develop training programs and conduct branch product trainings
• Ensure delivery of service promise and practice brand values
• Introduce and review strategic partnerships under this sector for decision making and ROI review.
• Establishing appropriate and discounted offerings to HNI to encourage growth of the portfolio.
• Plan client’s engagement with the bank by organizing fora’s, seminars, trainings etc. and recruiting such
HNIs and women to the banks Business club
• Ensuring that all new businesses are in line with KYC, CTF and AML laws and regulations
• Ensuring adherence of all bank’s prescribed processes, standard operating procedures and central bank
requirements
• Role Model of the Brand and Corporate Values of the Bank in the internal and external market environment
• Check and verify the accuracy, completeness of the documents against the checklist provided according to
product lines; KYC/AML compliance requirements.
• Any other official duty as may be assigned by the management from time to time.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business related field.
• Have a minimum of 6 years’ experience in General banking, and 2 of which should be at relationship level in an
affluent service sector or retail banking.
• Clear understanding of various investment models in the banking industry.
• 2 years’ experience in Relationship Management with a proven track record of client acquisition and
management
• Excellent understanding of risk, credit policies and procedures is essentials
