Medical Officer at Excelligent Health
Job Responsibilities:
- The Medical Officer will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. The role involves working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient management and adherence to clinical standards and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from a recognized institution Registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC)
- Valid practicing license
- Minimum of 2 years post-internship experience in a clinical/hospital setting
Skills & Competencies
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Good decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- High level of professionalism and ethical practice
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills Added Advantages:
- ACLS/BLS certification Surgical experience
- Emergency Medicine certification is an added advantage
- Experience in a busy hospital or emergency setting
- Computer literacy and electronic medical records experience
