SOS Children’s Villages

SOS Children’s Villages is a global non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and families. Founded in 1949 by Hermann Gmeiner, the organization operates in more than 130 countries, providing care, protection, education, healthcare, and family-strengthening programs. SOS Children’s works to ensure that children who have lost parental care or are at risk of losing it can grow up in a safe and nurturing environment. In Kenya, the organization runs programs that support children’s welfare, youth empowerment, and community development.
