Job Description
Clinical Instructor
- Support and mentor students at the clinical/attachment area.
- Ensure student participate in ward rounds, fill in logbooks and portfolio.
- stching students when making analysis and reflecting on their personal and professional development,
- Referring the student to study trainers/study advisors, if necessary.
- Assessment of portfolios
- Teach and mentor students regarding Generic skills, Professional behavior, Workplace etiquettes. work as hospital staff for 2 days and support student as clinical mentor for 3 days in a week.
Desired competencies
- Competent professional with up-to-date knowledge and good technical and generic skills od team player
- rested in the development and support of young adults.
- oral English and Kiswahili and excellent written English language skills
- Excellent computer skills with good mastery of MS office applications.
Desired education and experience
- Diploma in either, Clinical medicine, Nursing
- Months-one years’ experience in providing health care services. Registered with professional bodies. Hold a valid practicing licence
- MTC alumnus, having been a STUFAC member
- Experience with mentoring adolescents, Experience with e-learning
