Trans Nzoia County Government

The Trans Nzoia County Government is one of Kenya’s 47 devolved governments established under the 2010 Constitution to provide efficient public services and promote local development. Headquartered in Kitale, the county government oversees key sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, education, roads, water, trade, youth empowerment, and environmental conservation. Trans Nzoia is widely known as Kenya’s “breadbasket” due to its large-scale production of maize, wheat, dairy, and horticultural crops.
