United Disabled Persons of Kenya (UDPK) is a national umbrella organization representing organizations of persons with disabilities across Kenya. Established in 1989, UDPK advocates for the rights, inclusion and equal participation of persons with disabilities in social, economic and political development. The organization works with grassroots organizations to strengthen their advocacy and leadership capacities while promoting accessible policies, services and opportunities. UDPK also raises public awareness about disability rights and supports meaningful participation in governance and community development. Its vision is to achieve a barrier-free society where persons with disabilities enjoy equal rights and opportunities. The organization is headquartered in Nairobi.
