Job Purpose

The internship program offers a valuable opportunity for individuals to gain hands-on work experience, expand their knowledge, refine career goals, and build a professional network with mentors. As a Marketing intern, you will actively support various initiatives, participating in the planning and execution of both digital and offline marketing activities and events..

Main Duties/Key Accountabilities

  • Collaborate in creating compelling and engaging content across diverse platforms, such as social media, websites, email marketing, newsletters, and print materials.
  • Monitor social media channels, bring attention to inquiries, and analyze performance metrics.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of events, both online and offline, aimed at promoting KeNIC’s products.

Responsibilities

  • Support team to plan, develop and execute marketing initiatives
  • Support projects related to branding, content creation and social media marketing
  • Draft and edit internal and external communications, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Handle inbound requests from vendors and partners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information for communication materials
  • Utilize analytics tools to track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns
  • Monitor trends, feedback and satisfaction levels
  • Contribute fresh ideas that can enhance KeNIC’s standing
  • Prepare proposals and reports as required.
  • Other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Education and Experience 

  • A final-year student or recent graduate holding a degree in Marketing, Media & Communications or Graphic Design
  • Proficient in the WordPress platform.
  • Basic digital marketing skills.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools and Google Suite for creating marketing copy.
  • Desired skills include a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and the Canva design platform.
