Christian Health Association of Kenya

Christian Health Association of Kenya (CHAK) is a faith-based organization that coordinates Protestant church health facilities across Kenya. Established in 1946, CHAK works in partnership with the Government of Kenya and other stakeholders to strengthen healthcare delivery, especially in underserved and rural areas. The organization supports hospitals, health centers, and dispensaries through capacity building, health systems strengthening, and policy advocacy.

CHAK plays a vital role in providing affordable and quality healthcare services, including HIV/AIDS programs, maternal and child health, and community health initiatives. Through its wide network, CHAK significantly contributes to Kenya’s national health goals and universal health coverage efforts.
