National Council for Children’s Services (NCCS)

The National Council for Children’s Services (NCCS) is a government body in Kenya established to coordinate and oversee the provision of services for children. The Council works to promote and protect children’s rights, welfare, and development in accordance with Kenyan laws and international standards. It coordinates government agencies, non-governmental organizations, communities, and other stakeholders involved in children’s services. NCCS supports programs addressing child protection, education, health, family care, and the prevention of abuse, neglect, exploitation, and harmful practices. Through policy development, coordination, monitoring, and advocacy, the Council contributes to creating a safe and supportive environment where children can grow, develop, and enjoy their rights.
