Safaricom Investment Co-operative (now branded as SIC Investment Co-operative) is a member-driven investment co-operative founded in 2009, open to Safaricom staff and the general public. It focuses on joint investments across real estate, private equity, agribusiness, and quoted securities, offering products like fixed deposits (Pepea FD), land, and housing projects across Kenya. With over 5,000 members and more than 150 land-projects delivered, SIC provides members with preferential access, fixed deposit returns, and real estate development opportunities. Headquartered in Westlands, Nairobi, it aims to be “Your Investment Partner of Choice” in East Africa (sic.co.ke).
