JOB SUMMARY
Account assistant bookkeeping tasks such as typing, filing, making phone calls, handling mail and basic bookkeeping. Working directly with the Accounting Officer, helps maintain the office and keep it running smoothly and also deal with customers and external agencies .The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling sensitive financial information with confidentiality
Duties and responsibilities
- Reconciling of all banks accounts;
- Reconciling of end of day for tellers;
- Processing internal standing orders;
- Advising Winas Sacco payroll department on all BOSA recoveries;
- Advising External members payroll deduction ;
- Handling member’s enquiries;
- Filing statutory returns;
- Processing member’s loans and shares refunds;
- Performing out any other duties assigned.
 KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
 Academic & Professional Qualifications
- Minimum Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (C) Plain
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum CPA section 11
- Age 28 – 35 years
Experience:Â Â Â
2 to 3 years’ experience as an Accounting Assistant with hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software
Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures;
- Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software;
- High level of Integrity;
- Customer service Skills ;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
