Assistant Manager Investment

Description
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail;
Responsibilities

(a) Job Specifications

(i) Undertake business development in the specified sectors;

(ii) Appraise investment proposals;

(iii) Maintain communication with clients and manage client relations;

(iv) Initiate negotiation of the project financing structure;

(v) Oversee disbursement to approved projects;

(vi) Monitor project performance post-investment;

(vii) Prepare investment papers for management and the board;

(viii) Manage stakeholder engagements;

(ix) Any other responsibility as may be necessary to achieve the organisation’s objectives.

(b) Person Specification

(i) At least eight (8) years’ relevant work experience, four (4) of which must have been in a supervisory role.

(ii) Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce, Business, Economics,

Engineering or any other relevant field from a recognized institution;

(iii) Master’s Degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution;

(iv) Certified qualification in any of the following: Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Investment and Financial Analyst (CIFA), Public Accountant (CPA (K) or Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA (UK) or its recognized qualification from a recognized institution; and

(v) Member of a relevant professional body.

(vii)Knowledge and experience in statistics, data collection, analysis and presentation;

(vii) Supervisory course lasting not less than two (2) weeks

(viii) Proficiency in Computer Applications.

(ix) Meets the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.

(c) Person Specification

(i) Excellent financial modeling skills;

(ii) Excellent business acumen;

(iii) Good interpersonal and communication skills;

(iv) Team player;
