Assistant Public Health Officer III (MCPSB/06/2025/316) JG – H
Machakos, Kenya
Job Group ‘H’
Terms of Service: Permanent & Pensionable
Allowances as per SRC guidelines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Assistant Public Health Officer III
- Mobilizing, sensitizing, and advising communities on matters related to environmental health.
- Referring health cases to relevant health facilities.
iii.        Carrying out immunization.
- Identifying environmental health issues at community level.
- Organizing community health days to advise communities on common public health issues.
- Collecting and maintaining up to date records of services rendered.
vii.       Assessing health needs of the community.
viii.     Implementing vector, vermin and rodent control measures.
- Implementing integrated mosquito control strategies.
Requirement for Appointment:Â
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: –
- Diploma in either Environmental Health Science or Public Health Inspection from recognized institution.
- Certificate in Computer application skills from a recognized institution.
