Job Description
Corporate Communications Officer
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail assisting in:
- Preparing speeches, media briefs and newsletters;
- Maintaining online presence through the website and social media pages;
- Ensuring website is regularly updated;
- Overseeing the branding of NCRC;
- Developing corporate Information, Educational and Communication (IEC) materials;
- Documenting events through videography, photography and press cuttings;
- Packaging and disseminating publications, content and events using the appropriate formats and media; and
- Developing and updating media and stakeholder mailing list.
Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Proficiency in computer applications; and
- Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.

The Successful candidates will be required to submit the following documents;
- Certificate of clearance from Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)
- Certificate of Clearance from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
- Tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
- Duly filled and stamped self declaration/ clearance form from the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC)
The self declaration form, Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) should indicate the Principal Research Officer as the position for which declaration is being submitted.
