Job Description

Country Training Lead – Clean Cooking

The Country Training Lead for Clean Cook at Sun King will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs to equip sales agents, field staff, and other key stakeholders with the skills and knowledge required to promote and sell clean cooking solutions effectively. The role ensures the development of high-performing teams that have an indepth understanding of the product,  drive quality sales and collection that contribute to the overall organization’s goals for clean energy access and impact.

What you will be expected to do

  • Oversee the development and implementation of the clean cook training strategy as per the organization goals
  • Collaborate with the clean cook product team to create and update the product knowledge training content
  • Collaborate with the training team to plan and supervise classroom training and digital training via our internal LMS Litmos
  • Leverage on the internal business intelligence system to measure and track performance of the product sales and collection
  • Share timely reports on training outcomes: classroom attendance, Litmos course completion and test scores
  • Work closely with sales and training team to ensure compliance with pilot and product roll out  measures
  • Coach and train the regional mentors, ZTMs
  • Leverage on the training feedback tools to provide timely feedback  on issues raised by the field teams
  • Collaborate with operations and optimization teams to ensure product readiness in terms of distribution ahead of training
  • Leverage on the training data and identify opportunities to iterate content for better effectiveness
  • Conduct audits to evaluate learner understanding
  • Lead the TOT training sessions from for the country level teams
  • Work cross functionally with the call center lead to evaluate customer feedback that informs refresher training
  • Share reports with the sales team in regards to training success.

You might be a strong candidate if you have

  • Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years experience in leading training for field based selling teams
  • Proficient in navigating and managing learning management systems e.g. Litmos, Moodle etc.
  • Experience in the clean energy sector will be an added advantage
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to  manage multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Strong facilitation skills with an in depth understanding of adult learning techniques
  • Flexibility to travel frequently within the country
