Driver at PrideInn hotel
Description
PrideInn Hotels is seeking a reliable and professional Driver to support our transport and logistics needs. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and timely transportation of guests, staff, and goods while upholding the brand’s commitment to excellence in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive hotel guests, staff, and executives to various destinations as assigned
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it is always in good working condition
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any faults or service needs
- Adhere to all traffic rules, hotel policies, and safety regulations
- Ensure timely pickups and drop-offs while maintaining professional customer service
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance
- Assist with guest luggage and provide courteous service at all times
- Support hotel errands, deliveries, and other transport-related tasks when needed
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Kenyan Driving License (Class BCE or higher)
- Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience (preferably in the hospitality industry)
- Certificate of Good Conduct from the Kenya Police
- Basic mechanical knowledge is an added advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-groomed, disciplined, and customer-focused
- Familiarity with Nairobi and surrounding areas (or the hotel’s specific location)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
