Job Description
Manager, Investment Analysis
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing all aspects of investment in a portfolio;
- Analyzing past and current financial data and performance;
- Preparing reports and projections based on analysis;
- Evaluating current capital expenditures and depreciation;
- Exploring investment opportunities;
- Establishing and evaluating profit plans;
- Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement;
- Analyzing and evaluating performance and productivity reports for presentation;
- Providing financial models and forecasting;
- Any other duty or responsibility as may be assigned by the CEO.
Requirement for Appointment
- A person shall be qualified for appointment as the Manager, Investment Analysis if that person meets the following minimum requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Professional qualification; CIFA or CFA or an equivalent qualification and membership in relevant body in good standing;
- At least ten (10) years’ work experience five (5) years of which must have been in management role;
- Management/Leadership course lasting not less than four (4) weeks;
- Proficiency in computer application; and
- Fulfilled the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution.
