Job Description
Nutrition and Dietetics Technologist III – 2 Posts
TRCPSB/V/NO. 005/2025: NUTRITION AND DIETETICS TECHNOLOGIST III, J/G ‘H’ (2 POSTS)
Duties and responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:
- Implementing nutrition assessment;
- Collecting and compiling nutrition data;
- Providing nutrition health education and demonstration;
- Counseling of patients with specific nutritional needs;
- Monitoring preparation of therapeutic feeding programmes;
- Promoting maternal, infant and young children feeding programmes;
- Providing micronutrient supplementation;
- Performing any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements for Appointment
- Diploma in Community Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics from recognized institution;
- Registration by the Council of the Institute of Nutritionist and Dieticians [CIND]; and
- Certificate in Computer Application Skills from a recognized institution.
