Sales & Collections Agent – 4G Capital Kenya

Work Location: Across Kenya (including remote and Northern regions)

Job Type: Full-time

Reports to: Branch Manager / Regional Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking ambitious, self-driven Sales & Collections Agents to grow and maintain a healthy loan portfolio through proactive sales, exceptional customer engagement, and effective collections strategies.

 

This role is ideal for someone who:

● Is ready for immediate deployment outside Nairobi

 

You will be responsible for sourcing quality clients, providing continuous customer training, supporting responsible borrowing, and ensuring timely repayment—all while representing 4G Capital’s commitment to excellent service and integrity.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Loan Origination & Sales

● Actively generate new business through field sales, referrals, and market activations

● Guide customers through the loan application process

● Conduct due diligence and ensure accurate documentation

● Train clients in line with 4G Capital’s educational mission

● Achieve monthly disbursement and active client targets

 

2. Relationship Management

● Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers

● Offer advisory support—our clients refer to us as “Mwalimu” because we teach, guide, and empower

● Maintain constant communication and promptly resolve customer issues

● Develop partnerships with community influencers and referral sources

 

3. Credit & Risk Management

● Follow all credit policies and due diligence standards

● Assess client risk and verify customer information

● Monitor portfolio performance and escalate risks early

 

4. Market Knowledge & Reporting

● Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs

● Provide regular field insights to branch and regional leadership

Qualifications

● Diploma, certificate, or bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field

● Proven sales experience, preferably in financial services

● Experience meeting and exceeding sales targets

● Understanding of lending products, credit processes, and risk assessment

● Willingness to work outside Nairobi and relocate immediately is required

● Ability to communicate effectively in local languages is a strong advantage

● Organised, disciplined, and able to manage field work independently

● Basic digital literacy (smartphone and apps usage)
