Service Advisor (Construction Equipment) – Nairobi, Kenya
The role is key in driving customer satisfaction while supporting revenue growth in service and parts across all branches.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, accurately capturing service needs and creating detailed job cards.
- Coordinate service jobs by scheduling work, liaising with technicians, and ensuring timely completion of repairs.
- Provide customers with clear updates on diagnostics, repair progress, costs, and timelines.
- Ensure accurate job costing, including labor, parts, and external services, while maintaining proper documentation.
- Collaborate with the parts department to ensure the availability of required components and minimize downtime.
- Verify completed work against job cards and uphold quality standards before vehicle or equipment handover.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring resolution and promoting service offerings to support business growth.
Key Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role within the automotive industry
- Experience with Hyundai equipment or similar brands.
- Strong technical understanding of heavy machinery
- Proficiency in workshop management systems and basic computer applications.
- A valid driving license and willingness to travel occasionally to regional branches.
