Job Description – Shelf Attendant (Kipchimatt Supermarket)

Kipchimatt Supermarket is seeking diligent and customer-focused Shelf Attendants to ensure our shelves are fully stocked, neat, and appealing at all times. The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging and replenishing merchandise, monitoring stock levels, removing expired or damaged goods, and maintaining the cleanliness of display areas. They will also assist customers in locating products and provide basic product information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock and arrange products according to Kipchimatt’s display standards.

  • Monitor shelf inventory and promptly restock items.

  • Check and remove expired or damaged goods.

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in assigned sections.

  • Assist customers courteously in finding products.

  • Report low stock or discrepancies to supervisors.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • KCSE certificate or equivalent.

  • Prior retail experience is an added advantage.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.

This role is essential in ensuring Kipchimatt Supermarket provides a pleasant and efficient shopping experience for all customers.
