Job Summary
- This will be the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer.
ICT Function
- This cadre is responsible for promoting, facilitating and managing information communication and technology to enhance service delivery of the Authority.
Duties and Responsibilities will entail:
- Providing support in the use of ICT hardware and reporting any faults for further action;
- Providing user support and training of users;
- Repairing and maintaining ICT equipment and associated peripherals;
- Preparing maintenance and repair reports;
- Maintaining an up-to-date ICT equipment register and issuance register; and
- Configuring of new Information Communication Technology equipment.
Job Specifications
For appointment to this grade, the candidate must have:
- Diploma in any of the following disciplines: – Information Technology, Computer Technology, Business IT, ICT Project Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized
Terms of Service and Remuneration
Successful candidates will serve for a probationary period of six (6) months thereafter convert to Permanent and Pensionable Terms of Service. Remuneration will be subject to the existing terms approved by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission.
