Basic Salary (18,250-22,720 p.m.)

Terms of Service: Permanent & Pensionable

Allowances as per SRC guidelines

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Driving a motor vehicle as authorized
2. Carrying out routine checks on the vehicles coiling, oil, electrical and brakes system, tyre pressure

iii.             Detecting and reporting malfunctioning of vehicle systems

1. Maintenance of work tickets for vehicle assigned
2. Ensuring security and safety for vehicle on and off the roads
3. Safety of the passengers and or goods therein

vii.            Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle.

Requirement for Appointment

1. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade ‘D’ plain or its equivalent qualification from recognized institution
2. A valid driving license free from any current endorsement(s) for the class(es) of vehicle(s) the officer is required to drive

iii.             Attended a First aid certificate course lasting not less than one (1) week at st. John’s ambulance or Kenya Institute Highway and Building Technology (KIHBT) or its equivalent from a recognized institution

1. Passed suitability test for driver grade III
2. Passed practical test for driver conducted by the respective Ministry/Department
3. A valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Kenya Police

vii.            At least two (2) years driving experience
