Audit Associate II

Purposes of the Job

  • This is the entry and training grade for the Audit staff. The position is responsible for the execution of audit functions assigned and assists in the delivery of timely documentation of audit findings to management for review. The successful candidates will be posted to any of the OAG Regional offices located in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kilifi, Kisumu, Nakuru, Kericho, Eldoret, Kitale, Garissa, Machakos, Kakamega, Embu, Nyeri, Isiolo and Homabay or Corporate Services Department – in Finance, Supply Chain Management or ICT.

Duties and Responsibilities

Requirements for Appointment

  • A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University preferably in Social Sciences or other fields relevant to the audit function such as Auditing, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or other relevant disciplines from a recognized institution;
  • Demonstrate IT proficiency including Software Engineering, Data analytics and programming;
  • CPA Part II or its equivalent will be an added advantage.
