Basic Salary (28,620-37,100 p.m.)

Allowances as per SRC guidelines

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Mobilizing, sensitizing and advising communities on matters related to environmental health
2. Referring health cases to relevant health facilities

iii.             Carrying out immunization

1. Identifying environmental health issues at community level
2. Organizing community health days to advise communities on common public health issues
3. Collecting and maintaining up to date records of services rendered

vii.            Assessing health needs of the community

viii.          Implementing vector, vermin and rodent control measures

1. Implementing integrated mosquito control strategies.

Requirement for Appointment

1. Diploma in either Environmental Health Science or Public Health Inspection from a recognized institution
2. Registration certificate issued by Public Health Officers & Technicians Council (PHOTC)

iii.             Valid practicing license

1. Certificate in Computer application skills from a recognized institution
