Basic Salary (28,620-37,100 p.m.)

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Undertaking preventive maintenance and repairs of medical/hospital equipment’s, plants instruments and furniture.
2. Requisitioning for spare parts and consumables.

iii.             Taking inventory of medical/hospital equipment’s, furniture and plants.

1. Collecting information for research.
2. Collecting information on medical engineering services for input into the Integrated Health Information Management System.
3. Carrying out minor repairs of health facilities and utilities.

vii.            Implementing medical engineering programmes and projects.

Requirement for Appointment

1. Diploma in Medical Engineering or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
2. Registration certificate issued by the Association of the Medical Engineers of Kenya (AMEK)

iii.             Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
