Basic Salary (28,620-37,100 p.m.)

Terms of Service: Permanent & Pensionable

Allowances as per SCR guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Addressing the psychosocial effects as related to patients’ diagnosis, prognosis and future resettlement
2. Counselling of patients especially in cases associated with pandemic diseases, mental illness, HIV/AIDS, epilepsy

Requirement for appointment

1. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E) mean grade C or its equivalent qualification
2. Diploma in any of the following disciplines: social Work, sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, Mental Health or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

iii.             Registration certificate issued by the Kenya Medical Social Workers Association (KEMSWA)

1. Valid practising license
