Basic Salary (28,620-37,100 p.m)

Terms of Service: Permanent & Pensionable

Allowances as per SCR guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Manipulating and reducing fractures and dislocations.
2. Fixing and removing casts, bandages and traction to and from patient/clients.

iii.             Correcting Congenital Talipes Equino – Varus (C.T.E.V).

1. Counselling patient on issues regarding orthopaedic trauma.
2. Cleaning and treating simple wounds resulting from orthopaedic trauma.
3. Documenting orthopaedic and trauma case.

vii.            Assessing and referring patient with musculoskeletal condition.

Requirement for appointment

1. Diploma in orthopaedic plaster technologist.
2. Registration certificate issued by Kenya Health Professionals Oversight Authority

iii.             Valid practicing license

1. Certificate in computer application skills.
