Basic Salary (28,620-37,100 p.m.)

Terms of Service: Permanent & Pensionable

Allowances as per SCR guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Dispensing drugs/medicines to patients under supervision of a senior officer
2. Receiving interpreting and processing prescriptions

iii.             Recording prescriptions in a pharmacy unit

1. Pre-packing, repacking and writing instructions on labels
2. Counselling patients on usage of drugs in a pharmacy unit
3. Maintaining drug register/books

vii.            Stock – taking of drugs and medicine devices on monthly basis

Requirement for appointment

1. Diploma in either Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Technology or equivalent qualification approved by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board from a recognized institution
2. Certificate of Enrollment as a Pharmaceutical Technologist awarded by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board

iii.             Valid Practicing license

1. Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
