Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) is an independent constitutional commission in Kenya established under Article 79 of the Constitution and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission Act, 2011. Its mandate is to combat corruption, economic crimes, and unethical conduct in both the public and private sectors. EACC investigates corruption cases, promotes integrity, educates the public on ethical standards, and assists in the recovery of public assets acquired through corrupt practices. The Commission works closely with other government agencies to enhance transparency, accountability, and good governance, thereby contributing to sustainable national development and public trust.
