| Job Description | Finance &Accounts Officer II, KVB 8, CSG ‘11’/JOB GROUP ‘J’ REF: KVB/FAO/7/2026
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer.
Job Specifications Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: – (i) Capturing income and expenditure data in the accounting system; (ii) Maintaining the general ledger; (iii) Supporting tax accounting and remitting statutory deductions; (iv) Keeping safe custody of payments and journal vouchers; (v) Identifying officers with outstanding balances and ascertaining closing balances at the end of every month; (vi) Processing payments and other disbursements; (vii) Issuing demand notes and following up on delinquent accounts; (viii) Preparing payment vouchers; (ix) Reconciling Pesaflow statements (x) Preparing customer invoices for the services rendered; and (xi) Undertaking regular banking.
