Basic Salary (28,620-37,100 p.m.)

Allowances as per SRC guidelines

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Implementing nutrition programmes.
2. Providing nutrition services in health care facilities.

iii.             Conducting nutrition assessments.

1. Collecting and compiling nutrition data.
2. Counselling of patients with specific nutritional needs.
3. Monitoring preparation of therapeutic feeds.

vii.            Implementing outpatient and inpatient supplementary and therapeutic feeding programmes.

viii.          Promoting maternal, infant and young children feeding programmes.

1. Providing micronutrient supplementation.

Requirement for Appointment

1. Diploma in Community Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition or Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognized training institution.
2. Certificate in Computer Application Skills from recognized institution.

iii.             Registration by the Council of the Institute of Nutrition’s and Dieticians

1. Valid practising license.
